Brief Hotel Description
Dear visitors,
Welcome in the House at the Bell. This newly reconstructed building originally consisted of two constructionally separated buildings. The older one had its origin in the 17th century and the interesting thing about it is that the family, which owned the building, passed the house from generation to generation and lived there until 1923. The younger building was completed in 1712 and it was inhabited mainly by fishers. The younger of the buildings was pulled down at the end of the First World War. Although the older building was preserved, it was in totally devastated condition. The company Krum-Invest a.s. therefore decided to make a generous reconstruction, at which it not only repaired the dilapidated house of the 17th century, but also rebuilt the torn down neighboring building in accordance with preserved plans. We also placed the replica of the original stone bell with the era of 1719 in the frontage of the building. The bell was fixed there by the original owner of the house in remembrance of the year, when the Schwarzenberg family acquired the manor in Český Krumlov.
Additional Information
In the house there are six apartments in total, which differ by their size and layout.
In the ground floor there is a studio for handicapped with a barrier-free access to all its parts including specially adjusted and equipped bathroom and toilets. There is a loft studio with a large living space, separated bedroom and entrance to terrace above the house. There is also one more apartment with two separated bedrooms.
